Subject: A Snappy Little Crime Drama
Four people who would go on to be or had already established their perspective star power.
1.) Long time character actor Wallace Ford, still in his leading man stage and would be known for westerns and film noir in later years plays a cab driver who may or may not be a bank robber.
2. Leon Ames who would be known for suave types at MGM for years and later in TV uses his real name in the credits (Leon Waycoff) and is a fine killer-adulterer here.
3.)Prolific screen writer Betty Burbridge wrote this under the aka Robert Bridgewood. She wrote many many films especially westerns.
4.) Prolific "B" and Serial Director Spencer Gordon Bennett directed this very early entry in his resume and may have had a stake in the production.
Make no mistake this is a very clever case of mistaken identity and murder that flies along at a fast pace. I found it very good. Print and sound quality are superior from a later 16mm print. Enjoy. I did.
